40 in ONE > Notes
We will have building material prepped and will create efficient assembly line stations for the production of these microhouses.
If you’re not into the construction side of things, then perhaps you would like to give the microhouses an extra personal touch with a brush at the end of the assembly line. Colorful exterior paint and brushes, to artistically accent the homes, would be greatly appreciated.
For those of you who have a truck full of tools, one of our last email blasts will share a more detailed tool list so you don’t need to unnecessarily lug your big equipment.
For any of you who have a truck with a available bed, at the end of the day we will be hauling the microhouses about a ½ mile away to where they will be stored for 2 evenings until day of distribution when Hospitality House closes its doors for the summer, May 31st. Please bring ramps if you are going to help us transport the microhouses at the end of the day.
We ask for everyone to be flexible and understand that this is one big, beautiful Gorilla experiment.
If all building and assembly tasks are taken (this could happen), please make sure to bring your cell phone, digital and video cameras. Experience the event, and share on Facebook , Twitter and beyond, what you are witnessing!
It just may be that your role in the 40 in ONE Project is not to swing a hammer, but to document this event and blast it to the world as it rolls out!
